    Just this morning a moderator edited a post "edited to remove 'real' name".

    The real name of the person is available on the internet, but is not used on the BB. In fact in one of the links, it referred to this person as "....." on the BB.

    I totally agree that the moderator's edit of the post was proper even though one can find the real name of the person on the internet.

    And further this person is not hiding in darkness.

    A lot of people will use their real first (and sometimes last) name as a 'log on' name. I, as a mod, can SEE that, but that does not give me the right to USE it.

    I think we should honor each person's preference.

    Simple huh?

    I use various names and not my real name for different forums. I repeat names every once in a while. I have nothing to hide and don't care what anyone else thinks of it. In this age of identity theft and stalkings and other stuff, it is perfectly acceptable to not use your real name.

    I love this game. Especially when I get to hear my husband's: Lady Ivy I still giggle over this one, he does too, by the way. He also has Tom Cottage, but not as funny. I have another one which is Coco Deer Run, but I still like Ginger Fairway. My daughter's name could be Mitzi Stockton, Agape 44th, or Koinonia 44th. This is a fun game.

    I picked my user name because my real name is Mike and I cannot remember all the numbers that would be attached to it! So I picked something unique and easy for me to remember.
