Most of the time it is around five in the morning. I am a surgical asistant and my cases tend to start at seven.

4:30am or earlier when I'm to be at work. But sense I am still out due to foot surgery I'll tend to rise by 6 am.[IMG]

I get up around 6:30 a.m. but I'm never really awake until noon or so. NOT a morning person here. I live for snow days when the kids don't have to go to school and we can sleep in.

I'm a homeschooling mom and I can wake up whenever I want! After getting up really early with the kids for YEARS, it seems it all caught up on me and for the last few weeks, no matter how hard I try, I can't get up before 8:30 or 9AM. I need to try to get to bed earlier. :)

But it's all good. My hubby is still home then and the little ones are no longer too little to get their own breakfast. It's a nice life I'm leading now! LOL

I'm a full time student again :tonofbricks: so I get up based on the schedule for the day. Three days a week I'm up at seven , two days a week I sleep in :sleeping_2:.

Saturday is "whenever" and Sudnay is intime for SS.

    Wakey time varies around here.
Dometimes I have trouble with insomnia.

DH works Second shift and we homeschool, so even the kiddos go to bed a little later than most kids their age.

And if somebody has to go to the Dr or something we gotta get up for that, obviously.

    I get up at 7............
Get the kids off to school, and try to lay back down till 8:30...

I have found that if I go to bed at 9 and get up at 6, I am totally worthless...
But if I go to bed at 2, and can sleep in until 8 or so, I am totally refreshed...

There is something about the hours of 5-8 that are refreshing for me..
My mom is the same way...

I don't think my melatonin is in production until that time!!!

I never use an alarm clock, but I usually wake up between 5:30 and 6:00.

If I sleep until 7:00...I've "slept in".

I am definitely a morning person!

I throw papers. I'm up around 3:00, then around 7:00 on days that I get back home in enough time to nap before 'work.' :tonofbricks:Luckily (?), I live close to the distribution center...

Grandson and I have a paper route also. It is an afternoon paper except on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays...then it is delivered in the morning and we have to get up quite a bit earlier to put the inserts together, fold them, and get them to the houses before the designated time. :BangHead:

 I do so like my warm bed on winter mornings
normally up about 7.30 - 8.00 as I now start work at 10.00.
I tend to rise earlier during the summer months.

Usually around 7:30. I used to get up much earlier to have the kids at school by 7 a.m., but now I don't have to do that! Definately not a morning person, but my hubby is. He's up at 5 no matter what...even on vacation!

Wakey at our place is in shifts. I'm first, at 6 a.m. Then youngest son to get ready for school, oldest son to get ready for work, and hubby who rises at 7:30 a.m. for work. None of us do mornings, and all of us are night owls.

What is a very, very, VERY strong word for 'hatred' but is acceptable here on the BB?

    I know--a new one--'Gwyneth!'

Ah ! but when you are past 60, and have worked for other people all your life, then decide to have your own business doing something you enjoy , nay, absolutely love doing ........ you`ll be able to spoil yourself a little too  The Rubato 1.:wavey:

PS ......... I only work 4 shifts and they are only 10 - 2 ...... ....don`t you just "Gwyneth" that even more :sleeping_2:

I work 2 day shifts a week and 2 afternoon shifts. I am up about 3:35 for day shift and noon for afternoon shift. Days off are hit or miss - anywhere between 7 am and 3pm.
