Was Jesus crucified on an X or T-shaped cross?

    Let's let the Bible answer that one once & for all:

    Matt. 27:37 37 Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.

    It'd be hard to put a note above His head on an X ! He died on a T-shaped cross, as depicted quite often.

    Was it a capital "T" or a lower case "t"?

    It was lower-case ! LOL !

    Reason: The "capital" had to be there to provide a place for the sign above His head!

    It really doesnt matter in the grand scheme. What matters is that He dies a vicarious death for sinners.

    There is no way to know for certain; however, we can ponder the question
