Isn't this something: a man goes around condoning that which the Lord called abominable, unatural sin and a "Baptist Believer" says, "I'm not mad or accusing you of anything except some overzealousness."

Well I got news for you, the Lord IS mad and He will have a whole list of accusations against such filthy heretics.

I wanted to emphasize that I am not personally angry with post-it or accusing him of some sort of bad manners for our online forum. If you noticed I did say I strongly disagreed with his views on homosexuality, but I guess that would have interfered with an opportunity to make a condemning remark.

Is the Lord mad or are you mad?

I can’t judge post-it’s intentions. He could be a guy who has knowingly made a pact with Satan to undermine the BaptistBoard and the faith of Mark Osgatharp. He could be a Christian who is more influenced by the culture than the scriptures. He could be a Christian who, for one reason or another, interprets the writings of Paul according to a certain understanding of culture and context and places more emphasis on the “spirit” of Paul’s teachings than the “letter” of Paul’s teachings. Or he could be a Christian who has been heavily influenced by some of the very scholarly works that have come out in the last 20 years that (in my mind) try to cloud the real issues surrounding the teachings of scripture. Or he could be a guy who thinks that “grace” is more important than “truth” and he would rather make the “mistake” of grace rather than “condemnation”. But I have no way of knowing that… But God truly knows. He knows the hearts and intent and will righteously judge post-it, you and me.

I do not agree with post-it, but I feel no need to jump to conclusions about him based on one issue he has discussed on BaptistBoard.

Frankly you have very little credibility with me since you have declared the writings of Leon McBeth – and man I know personally – to be the writings of “anti-Christ” since he as a historian did not insert a condemning opinion of Harry Emerson Fosdick in his book on Baptist history. I know the man and have seen the testimony of his life and words and he is not of anti-Christ. You have jumped to a conclusion without having all the facts.

Remember that you may be seated next to Post-it, Leon McBeth, Joshua and me at the wedding feast of the Lamb… :D

Just because God deals with sin in different ways does not mean that all sin is not equal

Mark, you sound like a nice understanding guy, do you eat Shrimp, tuna, catfish, oysters, or calamari? These too were considered abominations to eat just a few chapters before the one you quoted in Lev.

A few other sins from Lev. Do you eat meat which contains blood? Do you eat pig, bacon, ham, or foods made with meat products? Do you eat kosher? Do you cut your side burns or shave your beard? Do you touch a woman or sit where she sat when she is on her period.

Mark, do you talk about other peoples private business or life as in "gossip?" Are you prideful as in the post you just wrote to me? Are you ever arrogant as in the way you just wrote this post? If I'm on anybody's list, your name should be right there next to mine. I'm betting though that it is in a Book of Life.

BTW, welcome to the board, I'm sure you will blend in well here... or stand out well...

Correction, I had a pact with Satan, but like always, he didn't live up to his side of the bargain, so I sued in court and won. I'm out of the contract now. But I did have to give back the secret decoder ring and spell book; and I got stuck with some of his cell phone bills to Saddam Hussein. :D

Baptist Believer, I resent the message, I must not have messed it up yesterday somehow, I don't send but very few PM's. Anyway... you should have it now.
