Website: The Beginning?

    OK folks might as well throw this one out too...in this day & age how complicated is it to create & setup yur own website, say...just a simple Christ-based site with sermons & such. Nothing fancy or huge in bandwidth or space. Are there ANY good free places or providers?

    I managed to create my simple homepage in a day without any smarts (does it show?). :tongue3:

    But I came up against my free 10 MB limit pretty fast...:tonofbricks:

    and so it sits unfinished for a bit more time.

    There are free services around. Couple folks mentioned it in this thread awhile back.

    Godaddy.com is very cheap if you don't mind paying a little.

    Very easy really. Netscape (Older versions anyway) has a "Composer" that has done most of mine until this last year when I went with an ebay copy of Front page.

    The Composer is pretty easy to learn. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but does a fair job in my mind.

    These are similar to GeoCities, AngelFire, et al. They have the set-ups where you create your site.

    I'm just playin with the other site right now like I sais to sorta get an idea of what I'm supposed to do. I do like the no ads part!
    I'll bookmark the site so I don't lose track..& thought I had FrontPage but I guess it ain't part of the 2000Pro setup.
