I've watched it a few times. It seems to me Colbert is a liberal pretending to be a conservative that's pretending to be a liberal. I do think he and Jon Stewart bring up some points the corporate MSM won't touch but they are still very much part of the corporate MSM.

I believe their shows are geared more towards normalizing the crimes the government commits by getting us to laugh at them. The corporate MSM has used comedy to normalize homosexuality and drug use and a host of other things. Colbert and Stewart are also gate keepers. Their shows work to keep the liberals from realizing just how bad the mega corporations they serve have them duped.

It's a form of subtle manipulation that plays on the liberal's sense of "enlightenment" and entitlement and many people even enjoy it but it's still manipulation.

Looking around and listening to "liberals" talk I've come to the conclusion that there are no "liberals" anymore. There is only left leaning authoritarians and their army of "useful idiot" (their words) followers who still think of themselves as "liberals".

Here. It also shows where Crabby got the idea Colbert is a "conservative." Obviously, he doesn't understand French.

By the way, it doesn't exactly say what Crabby claims it says.

I thought I already linked to that. The actual report doesn't appear to be there

Sorry, I posted the wrong link. It would be this one. But it'll cost you $39.00. I can't find a copy of the "study" anywhere else. I can, however, find a whole host of liberal-shill news agencies touting Colbert's "education prowess."

That's what I thought. I stand by my statement that CTBoy has never read the actual report and has no idea what it actually says.

Yup. Only how the liberally biased media he favors has spun it.

Contributing to the dumbing down of America, claiming a comedian is better at giving the news than the media -- any media.
