    Gideons wouldn't use the ESV unless they were allowed to correct it. Crossway acquiesced, so presently there are two sorts of ESV texts out in use.

    Looking at mine right now, they were allowed to use an Esv that in certain places uses the renderings from non critical Greek text!

    Could be the best of both worlds, if they also included in margins what was the CT translation they replaced!
