What Bible Translation?

    I can't speak for the good lookig fella,,,,,,,I can't see him. The two photos at my heading is moi! One more current and the other at 65 when I first joined the BB that photo was posted. It was taken the day I retired when I wasn't even looking........:saint:

    As far as Bible translation either the NLT (2004, 2007) or the TNIV.

    And they both come in Study Bibles.

    I'd give them an NIV Study Bible.

    The Modern Language Bible aka New Berkeley Version.

    I like the MLB a lot. It was my primary Bible for two periods in my life.The second period ended when I was given an NIV in 1998.It was the first time I had owned one.Over the next six months or so I had transferred all my notes over to the NIV.

    The NBV is wonderful in so many ways;ironically The Modern Language Bible uses some language which is not very modern.
