    They misrepresent Dean Burgon in my opinion. Dean Burgon would be a Majority Text person today, not an onlyist type. He knew there were flaws in the Textus Receptus and King James Version and that they needed fixing. However his time was spent opposing the Revised Version and the Greek Text and system behind it. Mainly the theories of Hort. Dean Burgon in my opinion has shown that the critical text and its current forms are not as good as the Majority Text, or even the TR. He was for revision of both, but once he found out the methods of Westcott and Hort he opposed them, defending the Traditional Text.

    The Dean Burgon society misrepresents him.
