The repubs floundered on election night, again. They failed to pick up governor in Kentucky, get majority in legislature in Virgina etc…. Even though the prediction was for repub landslide just like 2022.

    What’s going on, iyo.

    peace to you

The Republicans are being hammered at the polls due to the issue of abortion after the Dobbs decision.

It appears that most voters are willing to go along with around a 15 week period in which the state governments must leave the abortion issue alone, and then the state governments can start placing limits on the procedure while leaving exceptions for medical emergencies, and also perhaps for rape and incest.

Republicans would do well to talk about "limiting" abortions, not "banning" abortions; also, they should ditch talk of trying to enact national legislation to ban abortion, just as the Democrats should ditch talk of trying to enact national legislation to codify the Roe guidelines.

The party currently stands for nothing. It is the “Party against the Democrats”. That was formerly the Democrat Party Platform (the Party against the Republicans).

Who cares if career politicians that stand for nothing and will do nothing that they promise are elected or not?

    (That is what happened.)
