What happens when a Christian talks to a Muslim

Not surprised. England is being overrun by Pakistanis, Indians, Africans and Jamaicans..mostly Islamists. We can't even speak Cockney in East London without an Indian accent! It is frightening!
We made our last trip home 3 years ago and even sold our London home.

So, carrying this on to another religion: Anton LaVey and the church of satan in England.
Suppose a member of the church of satan stays at the hotel and the owners bad-mouth satan?
Would these Christians be going to jail (possibly) for speaking evil against the devil (hmm, wait a minute, isn't evil-speaking his job)?

I must have missed it. I couldn't find where in the story it says they were bring forced to sell the hotel, let alone being forced to do so just for speaking to a Muslim woman.
This isn't an issue worthy of prosecution. I predict the criminal charges will be dropped. The story itself even notes that the law used to arrest them wasn't written for that purpose.
Criminality aside, both they and the Muslim woman share blame. They're both guilty of not keeping a civil tongue. This is the kind of story that gives both Muslims and Christians a bad name. If the criminal charges aren't dropped, it will also give the English legal system a bad name.

I saw nothing in the story that would give Christians a bad name or present a bad tone. According to the information in the article all was appropriate.
It's never okay for a propietor to make disparaging comments about a customer's religion. It's inappropriate. It's legal, and within the propietor's rights, but it's still inappropriate.
That is not for you to decide since it is not your business. Heaven forbid they hear the truth.

From the link: In July they were arrested and charged under Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 and Section 31 (1) (c) and (5) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
I think in this case Jim (post # 2) may be the expert.
As far as selling the Hotel, the article actually stated "She added that the episode had damaged their business and they had been forced to lay off staff and run the nine-bedroom hotel by themselves, leaving them exhausted.
If they loose the case, they may not have any choice.
Well, they may be exhausted but their profit margin will increase if they don't have to pay a staff.

You really need to hold back from making this kind of a statement. From what I've read the Christian couple was only witnessing. Frankly, this doesn't give Christians a bad name imho.
