What is Oprah's Attraction for Christian Women???

This topic actually came up in my Bible study last night. My fellow "classmates" somehow brought up how good Oprah is with her Angel network and my leader said, "And she's not ashamed to admit that she's a Christian." I do not pretend to know what Oprah believes, but I wonder what these same people would say to me if I attended church while living with my significant other. I have heard them discuss going to the pastor about a similar situation in our church. I know that we don't have actual contact with Oprah, but I was just wondering about the comment made....

 

I've never heard of Oprah being a christian, I do beleive though her father was a pastor. I could be wrong though, I'd have to check and see. I think if I remember correctly from way back when I used to watch her, that she has a general belief in God/a god, beleives heavely in angels,and they can change our lives we just have to tap into them(the general angel worship type thing), but not Jesus, sin and repentence. Thats from what I have heard her say, now there might be more I don't know about.

 

Ok, Oprah's parents were not married. She was raised in a baptist church by her mother and grand mother. Which means she knows the difference but rejects truth. You should read her story, it's really something.

I used to watch her all the time, but for some reason just stopped. There are christian women watching her everyday, don't they hear this coming from her?
