    YOu are still completely misguided. You are simply wrong. If they fall away, then CAlvinism is true: they didn't persevere and thus showed their faith not to be genuine saving faith. If they persevere, then Calvinism is true, because their faith is shown to be genuine. Either way, the Bible is true, and Calvinism is just another name for what the Bible teaches.

    BE: Sorry PL but the writer who includes himself in this warning is indeed genuinely saved or he would not have been able to inspire this book. Not only so, he is referring to people who have the right to enter the holy of holies, are enlightened by the Spirit, and have been sanctified. And he warns these people they (including himself) could end up in hell if they turn back. And if this cannot happen to born again believers, he is lying to them. Since we know the writer is inspired, there is no way out for you but a heavy dose of denial.

    Self reaffirmation chants won't do you any more good than the self reaffirmation chants they do down at the JW Kingdom Hall.

    "Some say I follow Calvin....."

    Be honest with yourself PL and be true to God. You know very well that you are contriving to make sure your creed is pleased rather than what the Bible truly says. Think about who you are really serving PL.

    You make alot of "confident assertions" Ben...

    1 Timothy 1:7 desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions.

    Hi rc;
    I'm sure Ben feels real bad that you don't understand simple English.
