    It may also be a case by case basis. As I have seen chaplains forced into doing the multi-faith crap personally and i have seen Protestants forced to accommodate Catholics and vice versa...

    under the current president though, isn't it true that they cannot do prayers in name o jesus outside Sunday, and cannot counsol outside their 'rectory', and cannot counsol one gay to stop/repent?

    There are many "secular" events that a military unit may have, graduation, change of command, ect - and a chaplain may be requested to give an invocation. In those instances, many non-Christians are required to be in attendance. It is at those events that a Commander will insist that a prayer be non-secretion. During a religious volunteered attended event, there are no restrictions placed on the Chaplain.
    I am not sure what you mean about counseling gay people, as it one duty of chaplains to insure that soldiers are happy. However, if a GI comes to a chaplain for counseling - the Chaplain is free to explain that h0mosexuality is a sin

    SaturnNeptune, how many times do I have to tell you to warn us if we're eating/drinking at the computer? I swear, I almost just snorted a combos cheese pretzel right up my nose!:laugh:
