In speeches before she became a Supreme Court justice, Sotomayor said, "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life." She also said, "Whether born from experience or inherent physiological or cultural differences ... our gender and national origins may and will (emphasis added) make a difference in our judging."

She recognizes the racial bias that has been inherent in the judicial process.

As for the last part of what she said, it's irrelevant to Trump as #1, the judge is a man, and #2, the judge was born and raised in the United States.
