No, I meant it. Anyone as loose with facts as she is probably would be a terrible financial consultant. Sure, she makes tons of money from her books, columns, etc. But that does not mean she would be good at giving financial advise ... she might be, but I doubt she is. I looked around the internet for a bit but could not find where she has given any financial advice, so I assume she gives none. It would be interesting if she did for then we could see if she really knows anything about the market or not.

There are going to be some great buys in the stock market ... but not yet. The down tend has not been reversed yet according to the chart I follow. It is still going sideways, but something has to give soon, either up or down. We still have a long way to go up before the major bear resistance line will be tested. There is an indication that the DOW Industraials could go to 10,750 ... but I take that with a huge grain of salt at this time and moment and it certainly will not be straight up from this point.

Why don't you go to Coulter's web site and send her a note asking where she believes the market is headed?

I would, but I pay other people to do that kind of stuff for me.

As far as she goes, I understand why you hate her.

Good for you Ken but that's just the kind the Obamanites would like to get their hands on so they can "share the wealth" with the others who didn't do so well. You won't mind will you?

President-elect Obama is not after my 401(k) or IRA, Dragoon68. That is a falsehood spread by right-wingers who are sore losers.

I imagine you can find some liberals who float such ideas but that is not Barack.

Sure, Ken, Obama never said anything about sharing the wealth (we know better) and, of course, a Democratic Congress would never think of tapping into our 401(k) funds even if indirectly by reducing SS payments (such as is already done if you happen to earn "too much") or changing the tax rates for those who've done well to fund those who didn't. I know this because they'd never think about giving mortgage bailouts to people who didn't pay their bills (as if they were somehow cheated or forced to sign a contract under duress) with tax money from those who did pay theirs. Nor would they consider bailing out a mismanaged business (like the big three) or an over-priced union represented labor force (like the UAW). No, the Obamanites would never do those kinds of things as part of the great New Deal II "changes"! Wrong! The Obamaties - led by their darling - will work real hard at doing just these things. The only ones standing in the way are the slightly less than half of Americans and their representenatives who lost the election but not their common sense nor will to perserver over the looming socialism. The losers for now, Ken, are the productive Americans and the winners are the wealth envy pimps and their customers.

Typical right-wing conservative rhetoric, Dragoon68, favoring the wealthy and badmouthing the working men and women who made this nation great.

I'm not special, but I happen to be one of "working men" who help make this nation great. I work side by side with a lot more just like me. I've also led many others in the quest to run a business for profit - the real way to "share the wealth" of our nation. God has blessed me with talents, opportunity, and the resulting prosperity. I'm grateful to Him for that and to those that have employed me because they had a job for which my skills were needed. No one owed me anything. I'm not one who wants to milk someone else's earnings for my own use through the force of law. Likewise, I don't owe anyone else anything from my own earnings. If I decide to help someone I'd like it to be my decision and not the government's decision. I know people like me can make better decisions about what to do with my earnings than any group of fools in Washington can. I favor neither the wealthy, the average, or the poor. I recognize the generosity and the greed of human beings in all states of prosperity. I see the same greed in a poor man that I see in a rich man. I see the same generosity in both and, frankly, many wealthy people do a lot for others because they can and want to do so. The government makes politics out of that process and creates entitlements rather than willing generosity and respectful gratitude. The Obamanites falsely believe they can do better because they are "good" and the "rich white men" are evil. They just want to play with your money and get credit for what they can do with it. They'll waste it, line their own pockets with it, and buy the loyality of the greedy. That's my real "right-wing conservative" message and I don't apologize for it either.
