Ann Coulter's columns are being pulled from the "Arizona Daily Star"
    http://www.dailystar.com/dailystar/opinion/90500.php
    Excerpt;
Finally, we've decided that syndicated columnist Ann Coulter has worn out her welcome. Many readers find her shrill, bombastic and mean-spirited. And those are the words used by readers who identified themselves as conservatives.
    __________________________________________
And also from Hannity and Colmes
From "Hannity and Colmes," August 25, 2005:

COLMES:...And I want to ask you about something, Ann, that you wrote in your most recent column. You had a very funny line, actually, that it is hard to find a parking spot in New York City. There's no question about it. You've had a pretty good day if you can do that.

But then you said, "It's far preferable to fight them on the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of New York, where the residents would immediately surrender." Now, some New Yorkers...

    HENICAN: Ooh...

COLMES: ... felt that you were calling them cowards by making that statement.

COULTER: No, I think I was calling them supporters of Cindy Sheehan.

COLMES: Is that what that is? You certainly don't feel that New Yorkers are cowards?

COULTER: I think they would immediately surrender.

    COLMES: So you do?

COULTER: I don't -- I don't think -- I think I'd rather have them trying to invade Mississippi or Georgia, Alabama, you know, the states where I want Cindy Sheehan's bus tour to go.

    _______________________________________
I don't think you will find anybody from New York who will agree with Ann Coulter's outrageous statements

We are supposed to care about whether a local paper in Tucson, Arizona carries Ann Coulter's column or not? Why? Probably most people who read Ann's column do so via the Internet.

This issue is a nonstarter except for Ann Coulter bashers.

    Make it go away, Puff.

O.K. KenH who do we bash? That silly little dragon of yours? ;)
Seriously though, wouldn't Fox News Network be better off without her?

Well I kinda feel sorry for all the Blondes on our country that have fought for years against the stigma of the dumb blonde syndrome and then along comes Ann Coulter. She isn't very helpful to the cause.

I can stand about 21/2 minutes of her then I am ready to pull my eyes out, which would be far less painful then to keep on listening to her.

Perhaps you could tell us what you thought about what Ann said about the act of wishing someone a Merry Christman in New York (specifically, that to which she compared it). In case you have forgotten, it was the article entitled "Ann Coulter 2005," and it's available via a google search. Because of the very offensive language she uses, I will not post a direct link to the story.
Or what about her comments just after September 11th?

Ann Coulter has no credibility. Although it did not happen on this board, I actually saw someone make the claim that she is a Christian......

    Regards,
    BiR

Ann is I think going on 50 but claims to be
39 she is one skinny uptight person who probably
needs to sneak into NYC these days. You can always depend on her to insert foot in mouth rather sharply whether it is going after Vietnam vets or trying to resurrect Joseph McCarthy. She
is a millionaire working off the P.T. Barnum method.

KenH beware in conjuring up dragons ;)

Ann Coulter could walk down just about any street in NYC with one of those dragons on a leash screaming at the top of her lungs, "New Yorkers are cowards!" and....

    ...nobody would even notice.

Ann has a lot of valid points, but her style, personal attacks, and attitude does more harm than good.
