    Hello,
Name is Jon and I was trying to find schools that train missionaries in the use of radio broadcasting for purposes of ministry in the mission field. I was wondering if anybody knows of a school that does this?

    Hi, Jon.

Sorry no one has answered you on this. It's kind of a rare ministry on the mission field. I suggest contacting HCJB, who have a great radio ministry: http://www.hcjb.org/

    God bless!

    John

    Another Greenville SC option

Jon, I would also encourage you to check out the ministry of Tabernacle Baptist College at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville SC (same town as BJU) They have a powerful local am/fm/internet broadcast ministry with the WTBI radio ministries that includes (I believe) participation by the TBC students. I do know that BJU no longer has a any affiliation with it's (former) radio station WMUU since the station was sold in 2012 and is now a conservative secular talk radio station. TBC would be a better way to go (in my opinion) since they are local-church based and more "ministry" oriented. They also are VERY missionary minded and have their own Mission Board. I will include below a link to the church/school/and radio ministries for Tabernacle...check'em out:
    Tabernacle Ministries : Greenville, SC
This is the ministry that was founded by the late Dr. Harold B. Sightler. The church is now pastored by Dr. Melvin Aiken. I hope this information proves helpful to you.

Blessings To you as you prepare to serve our Lord,
    Bro.Greg Perry Sr.

P.S. PM me if you want to talk about it! GP
