Thought I might pose the question to see what type of responses I will get. It seems that the answer should be quite obvious by now. We have had over 2000 years to figure out the answer and plenty of scriptures. It is amazing that we don't know who we are in respect to our angelic transfiguration.

    Where do angels come from?

From the same place as humans.....from the creative genius of Almighty God.

Humans and angels are not the same entity.

Humans have never been angels, are not angels, and never will be angels.

The Bible says that angels are "ministering spirits". The have a specific job and function as God ordained them to have. They cannot be saved and do not understand salvation as humans do.

God made Angels FIRST. They were created in heaven - in the "mountain of God" and walked amidst the "stones of fire" - perfect and sinless in their creation and called "the sons of God".

That is not the hard part.

There was war in heaven - Lucifer fell in his pride and lead 1/3 of the Angelic host into sin and error (Rev 12).

Then that "serpent of old" deceived Eve and through her - Adam. HE caused the fall of the Human race!

As Christ pointed out - Angels have no "family relationships" no marriage, no children no procreation. They are each created directly by God Himself.

As Lucifer showed in the garden - Angels have the ability to "Assume a shape" that is not their normal form.

As John in Rev 4 and Ezekiel point out - Angels do have a magestic form and appearance.

    In Christ,

    Bob

Now I'm all confused, I would say "what Bob Ryan said" but I'm not sure what he said. :wavey: :praise: :wavey:

So I guess I have to say, "what Bro Bob said".

I will add, "For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels"...

You are correct - mankind was made lower than the angels.

I think some people have the strange idea that humans either WERE angels at one time or they BECOME angels when the die. (Might be what the author of the OP was trying to get at).

The Bible does not support any such thing.

In the ark of Israel God instructed them to make golden images of Angels surrounding the ark and on the curtains to the most holy place. They are always pictured in the Bible as awesome and magistic in form.

I always wondered how they knew how to shape the angels since man had never seen one in their spiritual form. Too bad we never saw the ark to see how they imagined angels looked.

Does anyone but me see a pattern being started by Stanley? This is the second thread he has started then leave. Can you say troll? I get the feeling our responses are for his amusement.
