Where Is America??

I have my own beliefs where America is in the bible and once even dedicated a web site to it. But one thing I learned is whatever truth I or anyone has, God has to prepare them for it. I used to think I had to defend God but not no more as I don't have the power to change anyone. God does the revealing. Certain things will pass thru the fire and only certain things will last. That all said, I did watch the whole video, and he listed in the beginning various theories as to where America is in the bible. I must admit my belief is one of the "weakest" ones that was quickly dismissed. But I wish everyone would have the time to grant an ear to this so-called weak theory as much as I spent time on this video. I can find multitudes more evidence for that weak theory than he gave on his Tarshish theory in an hour. The reason why many of our modern nations today are not in the bible is because back then the people's of today's nations were not called by the same name. PLUS.... they migrated to form others in various geographic regions. A good book to read is "Origin of the Nations" (In Search of ... the Origin of Nations). The author did a detailed study who the ancient peoples of the bible then are now. There was a 30-some page bibliography of over 700 sources, the most I've ever seen in any book so it's not shoddy (and I spot-checked some of them and were correct, too).

And along that line, its a wonder nobody ever questioned me about my handle on this forum (or others for years and years) -- it basically says it all regarding what I believe about this topic. LOL
