Featured which is the best translation between the KJV and the Niv 2011?

    No, he probably just prefers the 1984 Niv edition, a superior version to 2011 one!

    You have the same old refrain. Would you mind listing some specific passages from the 84 model that you think are superior renderings compared with the 2011 edition?

    Would you prefer the 84 version with its translation of sarx usually being "sinful nature" instead of normally "flesh" as in the 2011 model?

    maybe he thinks a more formal equivalence is preferred, or else the Kjv had les "interpretation?" maybe?

    Actually, being a calvinist, dp think the idea of sinful nature better contrasts what we are as sinners, before having new natures in Christ!
