    Bad Poll.
My answer to each is "yes".

    But perfecterest of all is
HSCB = Holman Christian Standard Bible
(written for the 21st Century and
    in the 21st Century).

The KJV is not perfect, but the KJV is most accurate translation.

Askjo said "The KJV is not perfect"

I never thought I'd see those words coming from you, Askjo! Tell me, what are some of the KJV's imperfections?

My neighbor who is KJVO told me that the Holy Spirit had to "Sift" it four times to get the right translation. I dont know if this terminology is used in the whole KJVO movement or rather by individuals.

Depends what you mean by "perfect." If by "perfect" you mean "flawless, incapable of improvement," then no KJV is "perfect." But if by "perfect" you mean "completely suited to a particular person or situation," then *all* KJV's are "perfect."

Amen to archangel7 with the added nuance of "perfect" which is to provide the believer with a "nothing lacking" faith position.

It's all there, all we have to do is read, trust and obey (rather than to LOUDLY "defend" it).

    1 Thessalonians 3:10
Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith

I was using perfect in the KJVOist terms Archangel7.

This poll was meant for the KJVO Camp that screams "God only wrote ONE Bible". I just want to know which KJV or TR Bible is it....

Anyway, I'm not a KJVO anymore. [IMG]

This is typical KJVO drivel. The "theory" (even if it qualified as a "theory") in the beginning was based upon the misinformation that KJV Bible one purchases in a Bible store is/was an identical word-for-word reproduction of the AV1611. When that pious urban legend bubble was popped, this "filter" or "refining" theory was propounded to cover up the original blunder.

It is difficult to keep track of all the convoluted logic and mythology of "advanced revelation" because it grows daily in an attempt to keep the sinking sand proposition propped up and at least looking like it's still alive.
