Here is a survey you can take to see which U.S. presidential candidate is right for your beliefs.

    http://www.presidentmatch.com/Main.jsp2?cp=main

It asks you to rate how strongly you oppose or favor a list of key issues, then gives you a score of Bush and Kerry related to your answers.
It is mostly impartial and fair, although it lists Kerry as "Somewhat favoring" giving more political authority to the U.N. in Iraq.

The poll shows a gross misunderstanding of government and the issues. For example:

The abortion question includes "appoint judges who will outlaw abortions". Judges don't make laws, legislatures do. This choice assumes a wrong and dangerous situation.

On homosexual marriage, the only choice given against it is a constitutional amendment. Many are against both perverted marriages and an amendment. No choice given.

On the death penalty, it seems to assume that the federal government is supreme. No choice available for those who favor the death penalty administered by the states.

    Education: 3 liberal, statist choices.

    Etc.

It's appropriate that they only included Bush and Kerry, since both reflect the statist, socialist presuppositions that underlie the questions.
