I have hesitated commenting on any of the threads about the videos. The primary reason was and still is we do not really know what the truth is on these videos or in how they were obtained. This is like many issues in our society, people are ready to jump to the side they support without waiting until the story has been verified.

Apparently the group who is releasing the videos is facing several lawsuits charges as reported in the following quote. I do not know if criminal charges can be filed against individuals who falsify their identity. If a group will practice such illegal activities I do not feel their credibility is high. Also citing Planned Parenthood comments, as was done by the WH also does not carry much credibility.

I probably will remain mute on this issue until the air is cleared. There is simply too much gray area IMHO to take a firm stance.

The anti-abortion activists who gained access to highly sensitive areas of Planned Parenthood clinics and other related organizations over the past three years are facing at least two lawsuits after they allegedly used fake identification cards and created a fake company in order to film their targets without consent.

Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation claim that David Daleiden, the founder of Center for Medical Progress, used a fake ID displaying the name "Robert Daoud Sarkis" to circumvent their security precautions and gain access to the groups' annual meetings and facilities.

The CMP has released four videos so far -- and claims to have many more on the way -- that show Planned Parenthood doctors discussing reimbursement costs for the donation of fetal parts for medical research. In the first video, a woman, who is yet to be identified, can be heard speaking to Planned Parenthood doctor Deborah Nucatola. That woman apparently used a fake ID with the name "Susan Sarah Tennenbaum."

Working at Planned Parenthood for eight years was more than enough for Abby Johnson, who once served as a director of the Texas Planned Parenthood clinic, to drastically change her views on abortion. She has since left the organization and become one of the most well-known and outspoken anti-abortion activists in America.

Johnson told The Christian Post that Planned Parenthood, the nation’s top abortion provider, sometimes charges between $100 to $200 a day for each fetal body part.

"Shipping only costs a clinic $4 to $10 but they are sometimes charging $100 to $200 for each baby," Johnson told The Christian Post when asked if there's a profit to be made from the harvesting of aborted baby parts. "They are charging additional fees, but in reality there are no additional fees except for minimal shipping costs," Johnson asserted. "There is definitely money to be made and that's an issue with the current law." Speaking about the legality of the practice, Johnson explained, "If there's a loophole, Planned Parenthood will blow through it."

I wonder why, of all the profit making companies out there, the administration thinks they have to protect PP.

One of the undercover videos that StemExpress has temporarily stopped from being publicly released is one in May in which StemExpress executives Catherine Dyer, Megan Barr and Kevin Cooksy met with CMP at a restaurant in El Dorado Hills, Calif.

That poses quite a problem for StemExpress and throws doubt onto the legitimacy of its legal claim and the court’s granting of a temporary restraining order. It is unreasonable to expect that communications made in a public restaurant will not be overheard, which would put CMP squarely within the exception in §632(a).

In fact, the Los Angeles-based appeals court confirmed this in Wilkins v. National Broadcasting Company (1999) when it ruled in favor of undercover reporters from NBC’s Dateline who pretended to be potential investors in a company that sold “toll-free” 800 phone lines that fraudulently billed people for the services.

< snip >

StemExpress also claims that the videos that have been released were “purposely edited in a way to paint the doctors in a negative and factually-misleading light,” subjecting the company to harassment and harming its business. Of course, the problem with this claim is that in each case, CMP has also released the full, unedited video.

Well, regarding the videos, what I have seen broadcast to this point is sufficient. Abortion is murder. Period. And the marketing of organs from these children is one of the most despicable, Un Godly actions I have ever seen.
