    For many Americans, there exists a faith in the cult of global warming alarmism. Beyond all rational explanations and beyond the tainted “science” behind this multi-billion-dollar myth that has fostered a whole industry dedicated to the advancement of “green” technology, there remains some serious holes in the claims surrounding the existence of global warming and, more specifically, man-made global warming.

    Now, even supporters of this fiction are wondering how the Obama Administration’s top “scientist” has come to the conclusion that global warming spawned severe storms seen in 2014 and, most curiously, why the Obama Administration is simply refusing to release the supposedly scientific data supporting this conclusion.

    In a video posted on WhiteHouse.gov titled, “The Polar Vortex: Explained in 2 Minutes,” John Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, pointed to supposed global warming as the catch-all cause for storms that in previous decades might have just merely been called “weather.”

    “If you’ve been hearing extremes cold spells likes the one we are having in the United States now disprove global warming, don’t believe it,” Holdren said.

    “A growing body of evidence suggests that the kind of extreme cold being experienced by much of the United States as we speak is a pattern that we can expect to see with increasing frequency as global warming continues,” Holdren also explained.

    Concluding the video, Holdren explained,“I believe the odds are that we can expect, as a result of global warming, to see more of this pattern of extreme cold in the mid-latitudes and some extreme warmth in the far north.”

    However, much of the scientific community as well as even the most-liberal of media outlets, such as The Washington Post, took issue with Holdren’s assertions as not only inherently erroneous, but startling in the fact that he has simply refused to identify the methods by which his department has reached these conclusions.

    The Blaze reports on the frustrations from the scientific community concerning the Obama Administrations refusal to explain their assertions:
    Numerous scientists, many believers in climate change, strongly disagreed with the conclusions by John Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

    That’s not the issue that concerns Sam Kazman, general counsel for the Competitive Enterprise Institute, which is bringing the Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the White House’s science office.

    “This is not about what side of the global warming debate you are on,” Kazman told TheBlaze. “It’s about transparency that this administration claims to represent.”

    While Kazman said this is far from the administration’s biggest breach of transparency, he still stressed it is a serious one.

    “It might be a minor example, but it is a particularly outrageous one because the erroneous nature of his claims are so obvious,” Kazman said of Holdren.
    Kazman is bringing forth a federal lawsuit to try and get the Obama Administration to reveal their data. Various agencies have stonewalled the efforts by attempting to claim that the information is privileged because the opinions offered in the video were personal opinions. This has prompted a FOIA request by Kazman to probe further.

    It is amazing what passes for news outlets anymore.
    That may be why so many didn't show for the midterm elections. Partisan's on the right obfuscate the truth or stretch it so as to but a villain image on Obama and his Administration no matter what so often, that to be associated with the party makes one think they're that type person just for being labeled Republican.

    There is nothing in the op about any remarks made directly by the President.

    White House: We Don’t Have to Explain Our Global Warming Claims to You

    Obama Science Advisor Called For Planetary Regime To Enforce Totalitarian Population Control Measures.

    In 1977 book, John Holdren advocated forced abortions, mass sterilization through food and water supply and mandatory bodily implants to prevent pregnancies.

    Read his book "Ecoscience" here . . . https://archive.org/details/Ecoscience_17

    I believe John Holdren explains the basis of his claims quite well in his own book.

    Direct quotes from John Holdren’s Ecoscience

    These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology — informally known as the United States’ Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:

    • Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;

    • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;

    • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;

    • People who “contribute to social deterioration” (i.e. undesirables) “can be required by law to exercise reproductive responsibility” — in other words, be compelled to have abortions or be sterilized.

    • A transnational “Planetary Regime” should assume control of the global economy and also dictate the most intimate details of Americans’ lives — using an armed international police force.

    Below you will find a series of ten short passages from Ecoscience.
