Since I am new to BB, I am curious to know who here pastors a church, whether you be the senior, assistant, worship or whatever other kind of pastors are out there now. Or maybe you serve in another capacity. Just interested to know others backgrounds.

    Anyone?

    Thanks

I am a layman who serves as Choir Director. Another brother leads the congregational singing. We're really old and out of touch. We aren't worship pastors. We're Choir Director and Song leader.

If the church wants to call us worship pastors, they need to pay us a lot more.

Pastor and anything else that needs to be done.

Earth, wind and fire - what is a PB church? Primitive Baptist or Plymouth Brethren? From your posts, I think Primitive Baptist, but wanted to make certain.

My hubby is a pastor - a campus pastor to a new church campus of our church. He's also been the worship pastor as well and still leads worship when he's not preaching out of just sheer necessity - we need more worship leaders!!! LOL

Me? I just do the computer stuff. I keep up the content of the church websites and also am in charge of the computers for the graphics that are projected each Sunday at the home church and our campus.

Former Pastor (7 years ) in Texas. Have also served as music minister, youth director and taught sunday school. Currently working on the road and getting to meet fellow Christians in my travels.
God will move me back to ministry some day, just waiting on Him.

    I am deacon.
I have also been licensed by the church to the gospel ministry (but not ordained).

I've preached many times, did one funeral and one wedding.

Began my Call to ministry as a Primaries Teacher and over the years have filled the pulpit when needed but never licensed and resist being ordained, until and if, God calls me for that purpose. I presently teach the Grumpy Old Men´s Class filled with a former Pastor and a Deacon in A SBC Church. The most fruitful work has been my Internet Ministry followed by my Prison work. When God called He filled me with the Holy Spirit and I have done my best never to quince that God will always receive the Glory nad the credit.
