Who was the most-evil man in history?

    Who was the most-evil man in history?
    Judas Iscariot?
    Genghis Khan?
    Tamerlane?
    Rodrigo Borgia?(pope Alexander VI)
    Napoleon?
    Lenin?
    Stalin?
    Hitler?
    Tojo?
    Pol Pot?
    Idi Amin?
    Another candidate?

    My "vote" goes to Hitler. While some of his underlings committed great evils, they were done to gain favor with their boss. Himmler, Heydrich, Streicher, etc. were all in thrall to Hitler, & did whatever they believed it took to please him. Hitler brought out the most-evil tendencies stored in those men.

    OTOH, Iscariot committed the one most-evil act in history, showing himself to be a true ingrate, and, despite hearing Jesus preach/teach often & seeing many of His miracles, still betrayed Him by showing the temple police who He was. But Hitler went on a 12-year binge of pure evil, being responsible for some 55 million deaths worldwide. He can be held accountable for every WW2 death, as Japan likely wouldn't've gone to war otherwise.

    It depends on if you go by most people dead because of that person. Stalin certainly is responsible for tens of millions dead in the Soviet Union and outside of the Soviet Union.

    If you go by per capita, you can argue Pol Pot. Ultimately, atheism is responsible for the most people killed.

    Some people consider Nero for that honor. While Nero was certainly a bad boy, most of the stories about his greatest evils are apocryphal.

    There are still many antichrists, but the coming one, also known as 'the beast', will be the most-evil man who will ever live.
    I don't believe Himmler, Heydrich, Frank, Eichmann, & the rest woulda committed their great evils had it not been for Hitler.

    Btw... How many on here have studied this man and his linage?... Trying to destroy, our Savior the one God had sent... Judas betrayed him according to scripture, Herod tried to kill him but God protected him, to fill out his mission and save our wretched hide on a cross

    I thought about him, Josephus covers him well, he was a very evil man, beast actually, well, part of the beast - Revelation 12:4
