I don't have a solution. Thus this thread! I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ANY LEGITIMATE MODERN VERSION. Nor am I ready to say, "this one needs to go" or "that one can stay". I just wonder how many more English versions are needed.

Who's arguing? You are the only one I see making the contention here.

Yes, I did say...., but what is it you think I was saying? Anything wrong with having an English version to refer to when reading other versions?

wait a minute, you said "I said....", now you ask me "if". And since you're being the "striker", you are now disqualified.

There it is manifested, you have a "striker feddish" with me.:tongue3:

When anyone exemplifies an obsession, they bgin to number their points.

I haven't struck at you even once.

What "truth"? I haven't seen yours exactly espoused as of yet, just vitriole.

    Giddy-yup!

It certainly sets those who promote the MV's in array against those of us who are as settled as God is on which English version. I'd call that harm.

Yeah, me too, I find myself when I want to know what the Bible really says to do a comparison study.

I read in the KJB, then read any selection on my Bible program, then I always go right back to my KJB!

I have always found that a study of the text in the KJB proves far more beneficial than any mere other version.

I especially like the words deemed "archaic", they really relate something to casual reader would otherwise miss if he relies only on the modern versions.

Thank God for Strong's and many other lexicons which hold to a wholistic diction of the receptor languages!

So when you preach you open the floor for discussion? Seems there might be a hint that you're not quite sure what you're preaching about.

No response to your vitriole, Sal - just trying to keep the thread on topic. If you want to continue to lie about me and what I said, take it to another thread, or else just shut up with your deliberately false accusations. Either way, Sal, you need to come to terms with your immaturity.

I'm praying for yoiu, Sal, and I'm asking the rest of the true Bible believrs here to pray for you too.

    NOt preaching..

But I have to say.. I have been known to take questions while I was preaching.. and at times gone right into Bible Study! To elaborate on what I was preaching on.

"Cry aloud and spare not". Define this please?

And please stop the obsessive whining when some one puts your feet to the fire

Well, Sal, you've succeeded in hijacking yet another thread. Are you satisfied and proud of yourself now? You should be ashamed, Sal. I'm sure God isn't pleased with your pranks. I'm still praying for you, Sal.
