    Indeed. It's quite evident he's very well read. For example, in the message he preached at Brigham Young University, Mohler referenced Flannery O'Connor, Dorothy Parker, The Pew Research Center, sociologist Christian Smith, Peter Berger, philosopher Charles Taylor, Karl Marx, historians Will and Ariel Durant, Pitirim Sorokin, French Intellectual Pascal Bruckner, Barbara Defoe Whitehead, USA Today, Antonin Scalia, Augustine, and "back to Flannery O'Connor again".

    That's an impressive list, but I'm a bit puzzled how USA Today made the cut. :Biggrin

    Oh, I read the linked speech in it's entirety. Quite enjoyable.

    But I wouldn't presume to consider someone well read based off of their USA Today subscription.;)

    (And I'm a big Flannery O'Connor fan, by the way.)
