    Why is it that Trump can make comments that are deemed threatening toward Hillary Clinton, incite violence against some minority groups, make insulting remarks toward people and pay compliments to Russia's Putin who is a definite threat to world peace, conservatives defend him. Yet, when a football player peacefully kneels during a pledge of allegiance in protest of how Black folk are treated it is a met with scream and gnashing of teeth by those same conservatives?

    Because it generates a lot of "news" articles, which generates a lot of mouse clicks, which generates a lot of ad revenue.
