Wikipedia articles are intended to be informative. I do not think that the BaptistBoard is sufficiently relevant to be placed on wikipedia. It is important to its members, but not to the general populace.

Considering the hay stack that is Wikipedia, I don't see that as a valid reason for there not to be a BB article. The place is full of esoteric information.

I think Sue has my thoughts penned down even if she quoted that verse wrong :wavey:  . If it were used as the light on the hill to draw believers and unbelievers toward salvation or greater understanding of God then I am all in favor of it. However, there is another side effect we'd have to accept and that would be those who would come and try to destroy or weaken our belief. I personally would invite them but I do fear for others.

Why would you want to put an article there? NONE of my professors accept Wikipedia as a reliable source for information. It is garbage, mostly opinions.

Wikipedia is not garbage but neither is it a good source for serious study.
No professor should accept it but that does not mean it has no value.

Most things on there either have citations or say that I citation is needed.

I personally love wikipedia but don't go there for serious study as your main source of info.
