Betty/Thankful is a gentlewoman because she is a gentle and sweet spirited godly woman, who never ceases to edify others by her presense. She is the type of person that can correct you and it almost doesn't feel like correction at all. She just has that way about her. She's trustworthy and kind. If I could change my personality I would ask to be more like her.

 

StubbornKelly is a gentlewoman because she is kind, funny and smart. She stands her ground and isn't opposed to responding with thoughtful consideration, even when people get on her case for being who she is. I'm glad to have the priviledge of talking to her on the board. She's the type of person I would have as a friend in real life. She's just so much fun to talk to.

 

Sue/I Am Blessed 16 is a gentlewoman because she's fun to talk to, challenges my intellect, tickles my funny bone, and I feel a camaraderie with her, and easy repor. She knows how to lift us up here on the board, and we are lucky to have her here.

 

WS: she is a blessing because she is humble enough to think she is not intelligent and she has said things that make me sit up and take notice...love her sense of humor and the way she has of making people feel special!

Helen: a very sweet spirit posting well thought out posts, I believe her spiritual gift is the 'gift of helps'. She has a servant's heart.

Betty: the first person that pmd me when I joined, a very gracious lady and very helpful.

Sherrie: she always makes me laugh and her zeal for the Lord sometimes makes me ashamed.

Diane: always has a good word for everyone but also stands her ground.

Kate: funny, witty, and not afraid to tell it like it is.

Abiyah: a keen sense of humor and really knows how to use words, she will never end her quest for truth.

StubbornKelly: we are usually on different sides of the issues, but she is never hateful and we get along great playing the games.

Gina: through her troubles she always finds time to shore someone else up, outspoken, truthful, funny.

LynnB: a newbie and an asset to the BB, she has a big heart.

HCL who is now PCL: appreciate her stand for God and her willingness to be a Titus 2 Woman.

I am going to stop now to leave names for someone else to use...

Ok now no repeats! And I love that all these women love the Lord, and they use it in their voice, and how they are.

WonderingOne...she always seems to give me a pick up...and a reality check at the same time! A very gentle and kind spirit.

Helen....wish we lived closer! I like Sassy! Stands up for what she thinks is right. Has a very soft heart.

Molly...we usually disagree about most things...Not everything...but I just love her! She is smart and has a good heart!

Charolette M.....she is fiesty! Knows what she wants. Has a lot to offer. Has a lot of love in her heart.

Now there are more...but got to leave some for the guys to pick.

Well, I didn't see any rules about repeating...so I think it's okay.

I only wanted to post 3 at a time because I tend to manopolize the conversation sometimes. That's the only reason why I stopped where I did.

So...

Abiyah, She is a gentlewoman because she is my safe harbour. She's someone who I can be myself with and let my guard down. I respect her a great deal. More for her way of looking at all sides of issues without being rigid. Although her great sense of humor and vast knowledge is a plus. It's her openness that I appreciate the most. And the fact that she will never judge me harshly because she understands and is compassionate.

 

RomOne16 is a gentelwoman because She is one of the funniest and most unaffected people I've met. She's just fun. And she is so kind. Although I haven't seen her here much lately. I do know her in person. She is a member of my church. Aha! She doesn't post her picture, but I'll tell you a little bit about her, she's gorgeous, really really striking. She has one of those smiles that is so real. She's awesome, really.

 

Gweneth is a gentlewoman because although she is very soft spoken, and doesn't make her posts very long. She is gentle in spirit and kind in nature, and feels things deeply. And she's not afraid to ask questions, and is fun to play games with in this forum. Cute sense of humor, really funny.

 

Every woman who posts on this board and has not yet been mentioned, because each lends a part of themselves to the family that is this board.

I also nominate the wives of those men who post here, whether or not they (the wives) post. These women also have an influence on the board through their husbands and thereby lend a part of themselves.

 

OK--give Blackbird some room!! He needs a long runway to land his big self!!

Sherrie--she's top of the board "Peckin' Order!" Eyes have not seen nor ears heard what the Lord Jesus Christ has prepared for her--I believe both in this world and the world yet to come!

Wisdom Seeker(aka Laurenda)-- Her husband "outmarried" himself! He "owes" God "a few" for puttin' Laurenda in his life!

Diana--Proves that Southern Baptists don't have to be so "tough!" Proves that Southern Baptist ladies still carry powder puffs in their purses!

Gina--if she were my sister for just one day--I'd straighten her little self out!!! Gina reminds me of my sister--If I needed another sister I'd want it to be Gina!!

StubbornKelly--she reminds me of my wife--just go ahead and tell her the truth! You'll be a whole lot better off by tellin' her the truth and her gettin' mad than to tell her a lie and her catch you and then get mad!! One type mad is a little rougher than the other type!

Sweet 16--that's what I call her, now! So shut up! If I were for "clone-ings"--she'd be the pattern!

Kate--I love it when she gets mad!! I let my wife read some of the posts--and I always tell her, "Katie is just havin' a "bad hair" day! I love you, Kate, zero zero seven!" If Katie were my wife--I'd have to hide the key to my gun cabinet!! (Sorry, rsr! I had to put the "g" word in there somewhere!! Figured it would fit well right here under Katie!!

blush--is she a newspaper reporter?? Did she give Geraldo Revere a bad tip??

To all the other women on board--glad you are on board!! Hang in there with ole Blackbirdy and company!! If I forgot to post about you---don't worry--you'll never find the key to the gun cabinet, neither!

I have "known" her for about 4 years now.

She has put me in my place, she has lifted me up, she has made me laugh till my belly hurts.

She has prayed with me, for me, for my kids, my marriage. She has shared her burdens with me, and I have prayed for her.

What a wonderful woman of God.
I am so thankful He let our paths cross!!

Teresa {BaptistForever} She is a dear friend to me. She always makes me laugh. Corrects my spelling to a fault! She has a great personality, and is so creative.

Sherrie who has really been a blessing to me lately. Especialy with the hard time I've been going through. She is a dear lady.

Sue, who is so funny, and sweet. Takes a stand, and has a great out look on life. Very friendly an has a big heart.

Su Wei, who when i see her posts makes me smile. She stands without apology for truth, and her getel spirit is a blessing.

Wisdome Seeker, who's pretty smile brightens the board. She has a lovely spirit, and is definatly a great role model.

Abiya, who always makes me smile. She has such a bright, fresh out look on life.

GrannyGumbo. I know she dosn't post here anymore, but She was the first to PM me when I joined, and I still talk with her. She's like an extra grandma, whom I love dearly.

Gina, who has a true gift for story telling, and who's love for her daughters is something precious. She has a great sense of humor that always makes me laugh.

Abby_the_IFBaptist because she loves God and this is apparent in her demeanor and bearing and in how she responds to everyone here on the board. She has a lovely sweet spirit.

Wisdom Seeker, because she picks herself up, dusts herself off, and starts all over again. I've never seen anyone forgive people for being mean spirited like this woman. She embodies Christ likeness in this respect.

Sue for being so interesting to read. And having a marvelous sense of humor.

StubbornKelly for knowing so many interesting things. And when challenged or belittled for who she is, only responds with tact, love and respect.

Thankful, for being a friend. What a truly kind and generous person.

My husband just laughed.
I'm not that bad, I think.
No actually I'm more gentle in person I guess.
We, a woman group at church, once played a game, one question was what are you known for, I said I didn't think anythaing(at the time), and someoen said, for having a gentle loving spirit. Now can you believe that.

 

A gentle spirit Kate? Well bless your heart. Are you being yourself here? or there?. Just teasing you honey. I have a good time reading your posts, I usually say to myself, "Look out, Kate is gonna tell them like it is now"
