    Tony Blair delays vacation.
    George Dubyah goes on vacation.
Just a contrast in style, I guess.

Thing is vacation is not what we know as a vacation for either of these guys, or any world leader. When I go on vacation I dont have to answer my phone, somebody else sits in my desk and makes my decitions.

When these guy go on what they call a vacation what they are really doing is doing their job from a different place. They are equiped to do everything they do in Washington or London from where ever they go. And the decitions are always made by them, vacation or not.

No matter if you like a presidents politics or not, you have to accnolage that these guys have a difficult stressfull job and they do what they think is best (agree with them or not) to keep us safe. I doubt alot of people could handle the stress that comes with the job of POTUS for four or eight years.

Yep, we can see that's the case with Dubya. He looks like he needs a vacation.

It if can get him unshook, let him do it.

The President of the United States is never truly on vacation. He's just doing his job from another location.

The use of the term "vacation" is a misnomer. It's not a vacation from work like we other folks take.

Until Hezbollah lays down its arms and surrenders, there's nothing Bush can or should do about it anyway. I have no problem with him going on vacation, even if it is a real vacation.

The contrast, to me, is evident: Europeans consider holiday a right, while Americans consider it a luxury.

Because of our differences - we usually take working holidays.

Europeans like the French just take permanent vacations from the wars that they helped start.

I am glad that the British continue in their stiff upper lip tradition and continue to slug it out.
