I give Trump enough credit to say that he may now realize that he cannot govern by command and will need cooperation from both parties to get anything done. If he does not understand this by now then, IMHO, he is hopeless.
Could well be but I think he will pull this healthcare debacle out of the fire (hopefully).

I am not sure Trump has the interest to do so. I read he was quite unconvincing with the congressmen as he did not know the details of the bill and, therefore, could not make a good argument. I have also read a number of places, and heard the author of his biography, that he has no attention span and hates details. Several places I read that he kept asking his staff, "If this a good bill", demonstrating that he did not have a good grasp of the topic or the bill.

Wouldn't surprise me if McCain was a leaker. He will do anything to make Trump look bad , so it appears he himself is doing something important by jumping on the left wing shock and awe bandwagon. McCain is all about McCain
