Would you help support Lt Col Larkin in his court martial

I agree with the reasoning of his stance, but I do not see any proof. He needs to come up with some proof instead of just accusations. So no I would not support his effort.

Col Larkin has been released from military confinement

Very well balanced news report - if you believe that 100% of Americans think that BO is not a natural born citizen

Salty,
I have no idea the number of Americans that actually believe that Mr. Obama is not naturally born but i do! As for supporting the Col., I do. But then you can rest easy because I never once received orders to serve in Vietnam without my volunteering and in the first case, I had to write my Congressman to become able to serve my first tour. And if that were or is not enough, I am the squirrel that worked tyo have Top thrown in the Long Bien Jail to await Courts Martial for the murder of two PFCs because he disobeyed a Lawful Order and sent them into a Mine-Field before Ordinance had time to sweep it clean. Iḿ not saying that it wasn't important that the Company Office Tent be set up, but I am saying that there is a proper order for things to be done in and Top and Mr. Obama seem to care less!

Absolutely could not support this man. He does not have the authority to decide if his commanding officer is fit to command.

If that philosophy was permitted there would be chaos and the military would be worthless.

I fully agree with Roger on this one. In the military, obedience is essential. There are proper channels for objections.

Cheers,

Jim

Makes me think of a episode of "JAG". I don't remember the plot exactly, but a Navy Reserve doctor informed the Navy, he was against war on moral grounds and could not support the mission of the Navy. (he may have been on levy- don't remember)
He goes to trial and Bud works out a plea agreement since the doctor has moral obligation against war. Bud will recommend a Honorable discharge - (so the DR is very happy), but, and this is a very big BUT - but the Dr in his civilian practice will no longer be entitled to TRICARE (medical insurance paid by the govt for military dependents). The Dr says that is not fair as a large majority of his patients are military dependents - (he lives nearby a large Navy base).
Sometimes there is a price to be paid for your beliefs and standards.

If someone can locate the episode on a website, I would appreciate it.
