Frogger was on the list, or did I misread it?

May have misread. Which list? The main list is to the right with a vertical timeline. There are detailed lists of finalists, most of which didn't make it in. Fortune favored the bold. :Wink

Some fear human programmers are heading for the dust bin of history, as AI will do most future programing. Ditto for college professors teaching stuff that can be replicated by AI programs.

Why learn a foreign language when you can speak into a microphone and the person at the other end of the line will hear grammatically correct Spanish or whatever language is selected.

    The times are a changin...

    This is about video games.

Creative AI may be a gleam in someone’s eye, but it would take an incredible amount of human ingenuity to create AI that can be genuinely creative.

An alternative would be humans using AI to create video games, a much more reasonable scenario.

Creating AI to learn to effectively play video games is another matter.
