Good for our WVians! If my health had permitted it, I would have joined that protest against that loser "church" that stupidly came to visit our state. But, I was cheering our folks from home, and it looks like they did a great job of telling the Phelps gang to get lost.

Now it's time for the rest of the country to follow our lead and refuse to put up with these idiots and their message of hate.

Just heard from my wife down in Clendenin, that a story is circulating that one of the cult members was punched by a WVian, and the cult member wanted him arrested, but the police refused to arrest him, saying he didn't see it happen so it was one man's word against another man's word!.. I'm telling you, you don't mess with a WVian, or our families!

Thanks for posting that. It's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. :thumbsup:Like our local citizens have been saying, this "hate group" has done some good things for WV. It has united Christians, Jews, Catholics, politicians, and homose*uals against a common enemy. That sure doesn't happen very often.

One thing about WV is the people will fight with each other all they want, but let an outsider come in and we'll all band together in a heartbeat.

The reason this group came to Charleston is because it's where they'll be most "protected." All I can say is, they'd better not dare venture into coal miner territory. Everybody will look the other way. . .

Knowing what I know of West Virginia I think there is a strong possibility the folks from Westboro Baptist will never make it back to Kansas.
