    Ralph states that he believes someone has stated that God was deceived as is posted below from the "Yea Hath God Said" thread that is now closed. Does anyone else see where ANYONE said that God was deceived? :confused: His post is below:

    Not really, POR, she was the one who in this section of scripture added "neither shall ye touch it".

    Oh. So when adding that God was "deceived" as in Psalm 78:36 in the nasv to the definition of flattery having a finality in action is sin? I would agree with your premise there, but I don't believe you are accurate in your thinking.

    I have read them...most all of them in fact. So, you still haven't answered the question, POR. Where has anyone stated that God is deceived? And again, sir, apparently you haven't read my posts or you would know that I promote the KJV, though I'm not KJVO.
    So, please, answer the question.

    I believe that Plain ol' Ralph was stating that the NASB says that God is deceived. He wasn't saying that you said it.

    Psalm 78:36 But they deceived Him with their mouth and lied to Him with their tongue. (NASB)

    Pastor Bob, I believe "flattery" is a type of deceit, or being deceived...so, I don't see where he gets his point. Two different words for the same meaning. Still, that would leave his accusations against the NASB unfounded.
