    Well, since 1881 the New Testament text was changed. So effectively we ended up with two different editions of the New Testament. The KJV mostly follows the TR text which largly follows the common New Testament text handed down from the first century. Now beginning with the 1881 text with all the unique readings it "correced" does not have any single manuscript handed down to us from the first century with most of any of the supposed "corrections"
    Yes, some of the corrections are real, and were needed. Some, but not most.
