Featured Conflict between OT priests and OT prophets?

Is God a Schizophrenic or author of confusion?


Nu 28:2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, My offering, and my bread for my sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto me, shall ye observe to offer unto me in their due season.

1Sa 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king..

1 Sam. 16:2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.
3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
4 And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
5 And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.


Now, was God a hypocrit? A schizophrenic? According to Michael's interpreting of scripture God would be a hypocrit and schizophrenic and author of confusion as Michael's interpretation and handling of scriptures pits scripture against scripture and God against God!

The solution is so simple and so evident to anyone with any common sense. God does not want or accept sacrifices from hypocrits because it is hypocritical worship. God desires obedience over hypocritical sacrificial worship. God wants BOTH - a sincere heart that offers up His appointed sacrifices.
