Absolutely everything. But it is nothing in us or what we do that makes Him decide "Oh yeah - she's the one!" He chooses us based on His perfect will.

He knew we were vile and sinful. He knew there was no good thing in us. He knew we not only didn't have faith, it was impossible for us to have faith because we hated Him. He knew that we were doomed for all eternity unless He, and He alone, intervened to change our destiny.

So why did He elect you in eternity past? Because He foreknew you He knew you beforehand correct? So then what did He know about you beforehand that is before you were on the womb? He knew everything about you, correct?

Question, would He know the thoughts and intents of our heart beforehand?

Yes the Scriptures are always clear, it is when you attempt to explain them they become muddied. Honestly you've been shown your error enough times, either you cannot see it, don't care, or are intent to teach your error.

According to the good pleasure of His will. Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

Not according to anything I have done or will do. You just can't seem to grasp the biblical concept that it is impossible for a lost man to have faith. Once you get past that blockage the light will dawn on you and you will begin to understand how great our salvation really is. All of God. None of us.

Yes. That they were only evil continually. Face it. There is nothing in you worthy of salvation. Nothing.

Of course He did. Yet no where do we see that it is based on what He knew we would think or do that He chose to save us.

Psalm 139:16 says "Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Who wrote what would happen in the book? I see "the days fashioned for me" not "the days that I fashioned"

Did His knowing you beforehand play into His adoption of you ?

Now is His knowing you beforehand what would that entail?

If you mean knowing there was something in me that merited salvation, no. There was nothing about me that merited salvation.

You keep fishing for something and I think I know what it is. But I still haven't seen a verse that says that God knew all about us ahead of time and saw that we would choose good - choose Him - or any other action on our part to be the basis of why He chose us.

And so before the Foundation of the world The Father made a plan for the Son to come and be the Sacrifice for man's sin. Did He know who would have Faith in the Son even in eternity past?

And that is what he can't seem to get past. He can't see that we did not choose God. God chose us! His pride refuses to allow him to admit "there is no good thing in me. None."

You have been told several times He knows everything. But He knew there was nothing good in us to merit salvation. Nothing. You keep trying to say He saw our faith, but the bible teaches us it is impossible for a lost man to have faith. You keep coming back to the idea that you must be better than your neighbors because God saw something good in you that He could not find in your neighbors. And that is self-righteousness!

No I mean the Greek term for foreknowledge means to know beforehand, so what did He know about you before the foundation of the world and before you were conceived?

If He knew everything did He know the exact time you would believe on Christ or was that a surprise to Him?

Again your corrupt dishonesty compels you to ask a blasphemous question. If your god is such a moron he is surprised by anything he is a false god, which goes a long way toward explaining your false gospel. :(

It is clear that by His knowing beforehand that He would know who would have Faith and who would not. That knowing beforehand would be why He Predestined us to adoption and to be conformed to the image of His Dear Son. Nothing on us deserves to be saved but since He knows ALL about us beforehand then He knows exactly who will and who will not be saved

Asked and answered. Several times. See my posts #42 and #47 for an example.
