Agreed... But then again Preach Tony has some weird ideas.

I don't know about that. I don't agree with him on some things but he typically seems pretty solid and he's usually able to discuss things without getting heated or saying something stupid. That's why I'm so disturbed by such a ridiculous statement.

    Huh?

    James White?

    What in the world?

Non-fanboys might presume Tony's referring to a much more prominent preacher named White.

You mean Paula White? Maybe I was incorrect on that one. I guess that would make sense given the rest of the list.

Regardless the point still stands that he lumped in some of the worst WoF, prosperity heretics with the likes of John MacArthur and Paul Washer.

Fan-boys? Was that really necessary? I actually don't care much for MacArthur though I do regularly listen to Washer and James White. But really, fan-boys? That's just a childish insult.

He believes one should not separate from false teachers such as progressives and CATHOLICS in abortion ministry endeavors.

And I said I disagree with him on some things. If that is the case, that would be one. I haven't read that myself. But that doesn't change the fact he's normally solid and rational in the discussions here.

Sad thing to say, but I've heard Creflo Dollar preach a more biblical gospel than MacArthur.

They've both run off the rails. Money on one hand, works righteousness on the other.

Perhaps. Me and him but heads allot. But I will give him credit as he is not harassing unlike some others here that I recently put on ignore.

Preach Tony and I disagree in many areas but yes he is civil about it. Some of my critics can learn from Preach Tony.

Ruth ended with a fantastic batting average. Perhaps Ty Cobb would have been the better example.

You are detached from reality if you think MacArthur preaches a works righteousness. I took you off block in the hopes that you were not theologically out to lunch. I was wrong. Back on block you go.

Sorry, no. Babe Ruth was the greatest baseball player that ever lived.

His .342 batting average is 9th highest in history. He was the home run leader for decades, his 714 is 3rd all time. His slugging percentage of .690 is the highest in history. We all know about his hitting.

But he was also a pitcher. His won-loss record was 94-46 with a 2.28 ERA (he led the league in 1916). He went 3-0 with a 0.87 ERA in the World Series.

He was one of the charter members of the Hall of Fame.

So, if you know anybody else that can best 714 HRs, have more than 94 wins as a pitcher and a career ERA of less than 2.28, well, they can be rightly called the greatest player ever.
