Carson's selling point for HUD is that he grew up in the projects, and became a successful professional. If radical change is coming in that area, the Left won't be able to characterize him as being unfamiliar with destitution.

I would think that prudence should dictate that Petraeus be disqualified based on this alone. Monumentally poor judgement.

 

It occurred to me that if Petraeus were to be Sec. of State, he may need to inform his probation officer of his change of employment.

Strange he gets punished for having done far less than others (not to mention any names) who have done far more.
