Now Obama is president, and she still believes he will help rescue Greenwood County. But her enthusiasm has faded into a wary optimism. "He's only one man, and there's a lot to get done," she says, a predicament she knows all too well.

She voted for Obama and still holds out hope for the man she calls a "people's president," but she's not interested in hearing his stories about flying to Europe or fighting pirates. "I guess he's just working his way down the list, and he'll get to us," she says.
Somebody once asked the question "Do you think any people have regretted their decision to vote for Obama?"
This site answers that question for some, but how many?
Based on various responses on this board, I would have to venture that most "0" minions are in the same category as the subject of this article.

In spite of mounting (daily) evidence that the "0" has no concept of the job of pOTUS, the "chosen" continue to laud his charisma, intellect and generosity, and find anything he does/fails to do, is exactly what's needed. Any criticism is just hatred and racism. He is defended regardless of the absurdity of the defense.

After observing the gullibility of so many by this Pied Piper, I am no longer questioning how the AC could garner such a following - tell 'em what they want to hear & promise them anything they want, and they will follow.

Even to the point of believing the tall tales of why "--this can't be done right now; just a little longer--"

I am certainly quite pleased with the first 100 days of Barack Obama as our president. And I look forward to voting for him in 2012 and seeing the Republican Party(what's left of it) being crushed at the polls in 2010 and 2012 as it was in 2006 and 2008. :)

Despite the fact that I disagree with some of his decisions concerning faith-based programs and loading up DOJ with RIAA attorneys, I absolutely do NOT regret voting for him. Unless something drastic happens, he will again win my vote in 2012. God bless our President!

People are going to think that I am crazy for saying this, but I have to partially agree with you (the part about crushing the Republican Party).

While I feel that there are Republicans worth voting for (Alan Keyes & Tom Tancredo being two of them) & will not vote for a liberal Democrat, I think the Republican Party needs to be crushed. At least that way the party or those who really care about our nation will stop & think about what they need to do to win the next election & to maintain the executive branch like they did from 1980 to 1992. In 2012, if the Republicans wish to gain my vote, they need to put a true conservative as their front runner. G.W. Bush & McCain are not true conservatives.

If the Republican Party is completely decimated, that will open the door for a newer & more conservative party to take its place. Unfortunately, it will probably take four more years of Obama & maybe four years of another liberal in office for people to see that.

The Republican Party needs to wake up. I agree with what Rush Limbaugh said, "Conservatism always wins. The only reason it didn't win this time around is because it wasn't on the ballot."
