TORONTO – Former President George W. Bush called former President Bill Clinton "his brother" and the two rarely disagreed in their first-ever appearance together on stage. The Republican and Democratic ex-presidents defended each other at a Toronto forum on Friday, disappointing some in the crowd of 6,000 who expected a more heated debate.

Bush said that he never liked it when previous administration officials criticized his government but said Clinton was respectful and never did.
Bush declined to criticize the Obama administration, in contrast to former Vice President Dick Cheney, who has been a vocal critic of Obama. Bush, who wasn't asked about Cheney, said there are "plenty of critics in America."

Bush and Clinton did differ on Iraq. Clinton said U.N inspectors should have been given more time to conduct the search for weapons of mass destruction and Bush should have concentrated on Afghanistan. Bush disagreed.

"I don't buy the premise that our attention was diverted," Bush said.
Bush joked about how much time his father, former President George H.W. Bush, and Clinton spend together. He said his mother, Barbara Bush, "said President Clinton and Father share the stage so much, he's like a son to her."

    SOURCE

And so the love fest within the Bush/Clinton coalition contiues. Oh they may disagree on some small things once in a while but underneath it all they're still brothers united in their love for a new international community (newspeak for Poppy Bush's new world order). They're just so darling aren't they?

It seems somewhat classy that Bush wouldn't citicize Obama, but also he was never much of a criticizer. I saw that during his two presidential campagins. Anytime he had an opportunity to pounce on Gore or Kerry during the debates, he rarely took advantage.

I don't like the fact that he, like his father, is "buddy-buddy" with Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton's real brother, Roger, was caught in an FBI sting operation buying cocaine. During the sting he was caught saying he needed to get some more becuase his brother "has a nose like a vaccuum cleaner". I don't know if there is a third Clinton sibling, but that kind of leads me to believe that he was talking about Bill.

I don't know if I'd read too much into the "brother" stuff. Former President's share a bond that no on else shares. With the exception of the peanut farmer, most get along well with those who have shared the same burdens.

No, Tom, it is all a conspiracy. The are Trilateral brothers and now they are bonding together to make their dreams of a New World Order come true!

What happened to the good old days when conspiracy theorists talked about crop circles, black helicopters, and rogue Jesuit monks?

Matt, I challenge you personally to a debate on the Trilaterals and the New World Order. We can even start a new thread so you can attempt to debunk all the information and documentation I can find on the subject. And, I can find alot.

How about it, Matt? You got more than just snide little remarks to back up your position, Matt?

Think Matt will actually except my challenge folks? I kind of doubt it but it would be interesting to see how he handles himself in a real debate about something he apparently knows very little about.

I've already told you my stance on the Trilaterals. It is a conspiracy theory to believe they are some force behind government and that they control everything like you say. It isn't worth my time to investigate a conspiracy theory and debate you on it.

So, I'll just stick to my snide remarks, thanks!

Just wondering - If the Trilaterals control everything how does anyone else outside of the inner circle know about them and what they are up to?

Isn't it part of a secret conspiracy to keep it secret?

In other words you haven't got the intestinal fortitude to back up your remarks with substance. I thought as much. The mark of a true...

Probably a wise choice on your part though Matt. Last time you tried to back up your remarks you ended up looking like a deer caught in my headlights.

You keep thinking that. You do realize that the majority of people around here don't believe your conspiracy theory, right?

Also...the whole chicken thing doesn't work with me. My name is Matt Wade, not Marty McFly. Thanks for the childish attempt at baiting me though.

The Trilaterals don't controll everything targus.

Those outside the circle know about it because those inside the circle brag openly about it. The real secret here is how have you and others gone this long without hearing them?

Let's find out if you're in the majority like you claim shall we, Matt?

Actually...I just thought about it and it's probably a bad idea for you to put up a poll. You'll probably word the thing in a way that it is deceptive. Why don't we come up with a mutually acceptable question and set of answers?

Is yes or no to hard for you, Matt?

Bad idea or not at least I'm not afraid to "put up".

Besides, the majority isn't always right.

The majority of people on this planet think man evolved from apes don't they?
