Actor David Carradine Hangs Self

You've probably heard that David Carradine, the actor from the Kung Fu TV series, the "Kill Bill" movies, and many other moves, apparently hanged himself.

Carradine was into the Eastern philosophy he often portrayed, which makes this all that more tragic, imo. And even with all this fame and no apparent health problems, it seems he may have hanged himself in Bangkok where he was filming a movie, although one story reports that police speculate it may have been accidental suffocation.

There are news stories all over the Internet on it. Here's one:

I remember I had a "Kung Fu" lunch box as a kid and saw a movie called "Death Race 2000" with him in it. That's when our thermos had glass in it and drive in movies were the thing.

How does a person hang himself without meaning to?
If you follower her post link it details the bizarre thing he seem to be doing. I feel sad for Him because he seem larger than life but if He was lost"seems to be the case" its not a pretty picture for him now.:tear:

Read the article and you'll see. Ever hear of auto-erotic asphyixiation? The story explains.

If this is how he died instead of suicide, it's a rather bizarre and ignomious way to go, sad to say.

Have heard of it ONLY because it was part of a story on CSI, what a surprise that was. Not something I wanted to know about.
So he was participating in this in the closet, even weirder.

Wow. Just read the article. Carradine apparently was engaged in some really REALLY sick stuff as he passed.

Very sad. My understanding is that he was into all kinds of false religious philosophies. Passing in this manner makes is very difficult to imagine him having any chance to come to his senses and embrace Christ before passing on.

He was totally into Eastern beliefs and probably New Age.

Actually, the closet is not an unusual place. It either has to do with using the bar you hang clothes on or maybe a sense of privacy? Not sure, but I've heard of closets in these cases.

I read that the family wants the FBI to investigate his death.I tend to agree with Marcia on the AEA. It sounds like a self-pleasure act that went wrong. Some people are into some REALLY sick sexual stuff. I heard that AEA phrase on one of the Law and Order shows. I've really gotten an education watching those shows.

It's no different from the choking game or fainting game teenagers and even some children play.

There's a euphoria that comes with unconsciousness or rather, the verge of unconsciousness. It's like a "high" from a controlled substance.

People who are prone to faint know this.

Nothing can be done for him now. His family needs our prayers.

Several years ago, my mother went to this retreat in New York to study Tai Chi for a couple of weeks. Carradine was one of the instructors and she thinks he hung the moon.

She's gone back to study with him a couple of times since then and had nothing but nice things to say about him, which is ironic, since very few of the reports I've read since his death have had much nice to say about him.

I don't think I'll tell her the gruesome details. Why ruin it for her?
