Do You Admire Any Preachers...

Uh...no, he is saying that nothing even remotely like english was even around in the time of Christ.

If you think Christ used the KJV during his earthly ministry, it is you that is the lunatic.
The Scriptures Jesus used are what makes up the Bible today. That is inclusive of the KJV, but it seems the lunacy occurs when those say he didn't use the KJV, but should be said as he didn't posess the KJV as we have it in written form today.

What is so humorous is the way you people perceive things and all out of sorts.

Ever think of leaving your bias in the lavanette?

I don't believe any copy of the scriptures is the verbal, inerrant, inspired word of God. Some are very good copies, but they are not the original documents.

Preservation, as a doctrine, does not exist in any scriptures.

Cheers,

Jim

PS. I still use my 1945 KJV exclusively in the pulpit.
So you believe God soldout to some one that he isn't able to inspire words in any language today?

If preservation as a doctrine doesn't exist
in any scripture, when did Scripture lose it's inspiration?

What you believe doesn't un-inspire any word, but it may subvert the understanding of those who need to know better.

I will admit that I was wrong- it is I that should know better than to respond to lunatics. Seriously, you NEED to stick to the KJV since you obviously cannot understand the nuances of modern English.
Really? Try me, and do it before you judge.

You ever hear of the "If this, then that" application?

In essense Jesus spoke from the KJV as well as wrote the Bible. You said things that were saying "if" he hadn't "then " he isn't God and the KJV isn't the Bible.

maybe it's you that doesn't understand reasoning out nuances to establish the truth.

I am just shaking my head in disbelief.

I have seen some pathetic defenses of the KJV but to say Jesus spoke, in essence FROM the KJV is, well absurd.

are we to assume you dont know what essense is or that the Bible came from what Jesus read from?

Whoever said I was "defending" the KJV?

Are your type so obsessed with this anti-kjvo thing that you cannot see past the end of your own nose?

Are you also saying that the words of Christ found in the KJV are not actually his words?

Are you also saying that any passage quoting or making reference to O.T. Scriptures found in the KJV are not anything Jesus used?

Crawl out of your box of bias and tell me the answers to the above!

It is really depressing to see people mock and ridicule others just because they say they believe the KJV is the word of God.

Mind telling me when did the Lord stop using the KJV? Afterall, many, many souls have been saved when the KJV was used by many a preacher and other individuals, but yall act like He is somehow separated forever from the word of God?

Speak of his humanity, but you cannot effectively do so unless you also include the fact he is God.:tongue3:

My words of witness are not the Bible, but they are inspired when God so chooses to use them when making reference to His word.

If everything we need say be inspired to be valid as used of God then we could do nothing less than quote the Bible all the time with no deviation in exact wordings. But that is not the case huh my well educated brethren?

It's amazing how a version discussion turns towards taking Jesus out of the Bible and the Bible out of Jesus.

Funny aint it Tom? Get a good laugh from this!

No one has done the things you mention above. But Jesus as the incarnate Word and the printed text of the Word are two different things.

Maybe I misunderstand you, but I do not believe ANY man's words are inspired just as God's Word was. If that is what you are saying I strongly disagree.

but why get all depressed if nobody's doing that?

it's only when people go beyond the Word of God and say the KJB's the ONLY valid Bible or, like in Eden, start hissing and mocking at other Bibles.

Mind telling me when did the Lord stop using the KJV?

again, maybe u need to read your Bible ... in whatever version. I remember a verse that says Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures.

your question assumes that the Lord ever started using the KJB ... mind telling us the Book-Chapter-Verse of that?

so, take a chill, pop an Advil, count to 10, it's okay, Harvey. nobody's jumping on you ... we're only rebuking the KJBOist voices that seem to torment u.

OK, so now you have done two tings: the first is you deny God inspired any man to pen His word or to speak as the oracles of God, HERESY!

Second is you deny God use of His word about His Only Begotten Son. You cannot separate God from his word nor can you separate Jesus from the word of God. HERESY!

You are attempting to take the Spirit from the words by the Spirit. God cannot be separated from His word in any manner, only a heretic would attempt this or the very ignorant of the fact.:godisgood:

Speak using cognition, show where your accusations, um I said ACCUSATIONS are founded.

Again your bias is controlling your intelligence.

The scripture Jesus used according to you is not ever found or even similar to the KJV?

The problem you now have is show me anywhere at anytime any of the scriptures Jesus used were never found in the KJV. Since the scriptures he used ARE found in the KJV then being He is God the Son anything he used IS the KJV. care to differ?

Have kept all my fingers intact and if you're suggesting an expletive in the form of hand gestures you're completely mistaken.

I only addressed the misinfo you give stating the KJV is not showing preservation as a doctrine.

In terms of modern preachers I like Charles Stanley and David Jeremiah. If there are any glaring problems with either of these 2, please let me know because I tend to watch a lot of their programming.

Also, what do you guys think of the Baptist Bible Hour|? From what I can gather they are Primitive Baptists.

Thanks,
Chris

I do not do the things you accuse me of. You just need to learn to read with comprehension, then do a bit of study on Biblical doctrine. The written Word of God and the Incarnate Word of God are two different things. Always have been.

It's certainly not the "ha ha" kind of laughter, but the "where did he get that" laughter.

So your words "are inspired when God chooses to use them when making reference to His word"? You have quite the ego.:BangHead:

Speak using cognition, show where your accusations, um I said ACCUSATIONS are founded.

sorry, no cognition for those who can't read. who's talking about "accusations" any?

here's what i wrote: "your question assumes that the Lord ever started using the KJB"--it has nothing to do with "accusation."

ask yourself where u got it from. lol.

and yeah, while u're at it, answer my original question: "your question assumes that the Lord ever started using the KJB ... mind telling us the Book-Chapter-Verse of that?"

Again your bias is controlling your intelligence.

the problem with you KJBOs is that u can't ever face the question squarely but have to twist it.

nobody said the Bible Jesus used was "not ever found or even similar to the KJV" or "never found in the KJV." in fact, the Bible He used is found in the KJB as well as all modern Bibles; so deal with that fact.

BUT u'd assumed that the Lord did use the KJB when u said:
"Mind telling me when did the Lord stop using the KJV?"
and that implication's simply not true.

Many have been called Ruckmanites but it seems that people like Mr Garvey are more like Riplinger.
YOu ask a questionk then they either twist the question or dodge the question.
You simply can't get a straight answer sadly.

I think (I HOPE!) by "Used the KJV" Harold means that the Lord in this current day uses the KJV as a means to spread the gospel.
Of course God in that way also "used" the Geneva, The ASV, the NASB, The German Luther Bible, the NIV and this list goes on.

Harold, do you deny that God ever used the NASB in the same sense of the word "used" as you say God "used" the KJV?
