    From Oklahoma Christians ....

Matt. 25:35 I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home.

Is it really such a stretch to say, "I was poor and uninsured and you helped me?"

Nope but the method by which that is to happen is not mandated. You libbies continue, and knowingly I might add, to create a strawman. No one wants to withhold health care. It is time you libbies started being honest.

How do you propose health care be given, perhaps provided is a better word, to the poor?

There you go, with your Phariseeical judgement that those who don't want Obamacare don't care about the poor.

We have articulated how to bring health care costs down, and you ignore it. Instead, you want a program that will guarantee more expensive, yet substandard care.

Dishonesty is your trademark, as with all commies. And don't give me the garbage about how Christ told us to deal with others. Christ didn't encourage purposeful, nor did he tell us to misrepresent each other.

And there are also "Christian" groups who support women pastors, gay pastors, forced evolution education, and vegetarianism. I'll lump these guys in with the rest of those idiots.

Mat 6:1 NIV "Be careful not to do your 'acts of righteousness' before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

Everyone in this country has health care. Not everyone has health care insurance. There is a distinct difference.

Do you believe everyone should have health care insurance? How would this be made available?

C.T.Boy, you know this information has been posted on this board. You disappeared after misrepresenting Ron Paul in another thread, and never acknowledged the correction. You have never explained why you called me a bigot. Tell me, why should anyone engage you in a debate ?

a stretch yes, just adding to scripture. Jesus never addressed health care or insurance, and people paying for those who do not work, as a matter of fact if you want to stretch it the bible does say if you don't work you don't eat, if you refuse to work and take care of yourself, you don't get taken care of.
    insurance is availble to everyone.

Well if these mega churches would quit tearing down their barns and building bigger ones they could help the poor.

"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it?"

"The kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones, when taking their lamps, brought no oil with them, but the wise brought flasks of oil with their lamps."

We shouldn't be commiting to enormous new spending that is unsustainable.

What version is that? Because I'm reading out of the Obama version and it reads a little differently:

Matt. 25:35 I was hungry, and you waited for the goverment to institute programs to feed me and make me dependent on them for my food. I was thirsty, and you lobbied the government to take water away from somebody else who worked hard for it, so I could drink. I was a stranger, and Congress pressured the bank to give me a home for a loan that I could not afford and so I lost my home and fell deeper into poverty. And now I am hungry, thirsty, and a stranger again.

You are without a doubt one of the most intellectually dishonest posters on this board.

First, you post this stuff from what you call "Oklahoma Christians"...clearly you wish to indicate that those who oppose this piece of trash socialist legislation are somehow not Christians.

Secondly...it's been explained to you, time and time again, that equating "helping the poor" and "getting government to 'help' the poor" are not the same thing...societally, or in the eyes of Scripture. You either ignore that, or pretend it hasn't been explained to you. This indicates either a problem with comprehension, or honesty (I vote the latter...you seem to have a problem with it).

I'll say it again: may of us uneducated, stupid, evil, conservative people help other folks. We just don't squawk about it like you seem to think we should. And...we do it from our own initiative...not at the point of a gun. The help we render is more efficient, more effective, and more appreciated that the wasteful, bureaucratic train wreck which you seem to favor.

Now...did you understand that, or will we see more smug intellectual dishonesty?
