Hey gang, I just notice on Fox News videos several Mormon commercials and was shocked. I guess perhaps Glen Becks pulling some weight behind the heresy?

Naw, it's not Glen Beck's clout. It's the clout of money.

Or it could be that Mormons think that folks might take a look at the Mormon church since Glenn is part of the cult.

Since this thread is about neither Baptist theology or Bible study, it's off to another forum.

As is every news outlet be it electronic or in print. There is only one ideology in mass media - sell minutes or inches! Journalist may want you to believe they are noble in their cause but the bottom line is the botton line. If a show will not produce revenue it will be replaced with one that does.

There is at least on exception. The wife of a network president (think it was Barbara Paley) did not like the fact that her favorite soap was being canceled. She insisted her husband keep it on the air. And so he did.
Can not find the link for that - can someone help?

Haven't they always advertised? I remember seeing their ads even as a young child.

Likewise, and I'm older than dirt!

Seriously, I've seen their ads on TV way back before color was the norm.

Well yes but I was wondering why Fox News was now their pedestal. Fox getting desperate?

Duh!!! It's called making money. No more and no less. FOX, I'm sure, would equally welcome SBC ads as well but the SBC isn't advertising. The cult is and they are certainly within their rights to do so.

There have been Mormon ads on TV for years. This is nothing new. They have the same rightts to make spiffy commercials and pay the going rate as any other denomination... Unfortunately...

    Mormon ads on Christian sites

I have even seen the Mormon ads on Christian websites.

These are google ads over which websites have no control. If you opt for google ads, whatever ads you get, you get.

This is just like you will see ads promoting the global warming hysteria on websites that expose the hysteria and propaganda of the AGWers.
