Do you believe that not one single purpose of God has ever or will ever fail?

Do you believe that NOTHING that ever happens happens outside of the eternal purposes of God?

Do you believe that EVERYTHING that has ever or will ever happen, happens EXACTLY as God always intended?

ALL of us agree that there are things that God permits that he does not like in and of themselves.

That is not the question. The question is, Does even THOSE things happen exactly as God, NOT ONLY KNEW THEY WOULD HAPPEN, but as God PURPOSED them to happen?

I would say a bit inappropriate. Seems as though you may have created this "survey" in a bit of an "unhappy" mood.

I'd like to add another much more clear option: "God has established a world in which sin will indeed necessarily come to pass by God's permission, but not by his 'positive agency.'" - Jonathan Edwards

You do understand that Edwards was a Calvinist, who also affirmed God's overarching divine decrees? In other words, that quote reads kinda like,

"God has established a world in which sin WILL INDEED NECESSARILY come to pass by God's permission, but not by his positive agency."

i.e.; it was still the will and decree of God, he is just not responsible for the sin. Are you becoming a Calvinist, my friend?

No not at all....more like a blackened piece of dry soy ....you put vast amounts of pickles, catchup & any condiment laying around to give it flavor. Need a drink close at hand to keep it from lodging in your esophagus.

    How about this...

'God has granted "limited" free will unto his creations, and that some things are determined by Him directly, others permitted, but in all things, His ultimate Will will come to pass, as he works together all things done for His glory and purposes!"
